The cottage is a 10 minute walk to the general store, hotel and the village common, which has a pentaque piste and free electric BBQ.
Summerfield Winery is within walking distance, while Warrenmang, Taltarni, Dalwhinnie, Counterpoint, Gwynnyth and Redbank are only a few minutes away by car.
Day trips from Moonambel include the Grampians and Daylesford, Maldon, Castlemaine and many other towns in the goldfield area.
